(DMP doesn’t put books up on Amazon for preorder because they’ve been affected numerous times by a glitch that sets books directly from “preorder” to “out of stock” when they mean to set them to “live.” It’s ruined several book launch “chart rush” days — ask poor Christiana Ellis — so DMP avoids the issue entirely now and doesn’t submit the record to Amazon until a book is live.)
